This Starling caught my eye as it visited the bird-table today. It's beak is twice as big as it should be. This didn't seem to cause it any problems though as it gobbled up lots of the food on offer. ( click on the picture for a better look ) Also visiting was the Pied Wagtail that has spent the winter with us.
They’re greedy enough at the best of times; a bigger beak means more food lol
ReplyDeleteGood to know he’s managing ok though.
